New Jersey City University
A project I worked on while freelancing for iFactory, I was tasked with creating a component-based redesign for the New Jersey City Universitys site. Working with the existing brand guidelines, I created key pages based on reusable components that were designed with NJCU's needs in mind.
Filtering
One of the big things we focused on for NJCU was creating filterable tables for the different pages that students would need to search through. This included their program finder, faculty & staff directory, and their news & events page. I worked with our UX team to design several pieces for these pages, from filter dropdowns to sorting by day of the month.
Component design
In addition to creating full page designs based on the wireframes our UX designer had created, I worked to design out singular components that were reusable throughout the site. It was important that these core components looked beautiful and cohesive no matter what page the client placed them on.
